![]() ![]() and if this is the case, the storm produced a wave that damaged the port WAN on AirPort Extreme. I guess you have tried another Ethernet cable between the modem and AirPort Extreme. I cycled power on all equipment, tried different cables and even performed a hard reset on the AEBS, and again, it won't recognize the cable Ethernet is plugged. All cables/cords are connected and secure. When I opened the AirPort Utility to diagnose and fix the problem, I was prompted to connect the Ethernet cable to the AEBS. However the AEBS is orange with intermittent flashing green. Service was also restored and our modem works properly. ![]() Last night, we had severe weather in the region and almost immediately after a lightning strike extremely close, our internet came out. I had this AEBS for almost 5 years with no problems. I have an AirPort Extreme Base Station renovated 4th Gen router connected to a modem Arris SB6141 cable. That did the trick, eventually I just configured the printer using wps in a few minutes. Using the tool of the airport, I logged on to the base station and changed the wifi settings, while 2.4 and 5 ghz networks have different names instead of identical names standard. I'd appreciate comments on this issue because I am quite frustrated now :-) I also tried to change the security on the terminal of the default wpa2 personal wireless with wpa/wpa2 personal. ![]() I tried several resets and restarts the printer and the base station, and the printer and the base of the station has new firmware. Later I tried to connect to a shared of my iphone, wifi connection and everything worked perfectly, so the problem is that somehow the printer will not connect properly to the Airport base station. Enter the web configuration via USB, I see that the printer is grateful the network, but it doesn't have an IP address (it is set to auto/DHCP). Using the WPS configuration, the printer is recognized by the base station, but I'm still not able to print wirelessly or via airprint. I am trying to connect the printer wireless to their Airport Time Capsule base station.
